The Haider family turns the fascination of whisky into an experience. At Austria's first whisky distillery, quality and a distinctive character of the spirits matter greatly. Since a large share of sales happens online, that character extends to the brand's online image, which is where we come in with social media on Facebook and Instagram.
The Whisky Experience World, now a pilgrimage site for whisky lovers where guided tours reveal the world of whisky, offers an exciting look behind the scenes of the distillery. On Instagram especially, we want to give whisky fans that same behind-the-scenes view, with images straight from the distillery, the fire and water garden, and various events and presentations. Facebook carries information on promotions, competitions and delicious whisky recipes.
Since the agency took over, Facebook fans have grown by 14% and Instagram fans by around 42%. Fitting for liqueurs and whiskies, the numbers get even stronger from there: average monthly reach is up 212%, impressions up 186% and engagement up 138%.
